Day 39. We made it to the end.

Amanda (solo):
This is day 39. I've been here in China 39 days with these people I'm
laying next to right now. I think we're all proud of each other for
lasting this long. I think that's what I'm most proud of. That we all
stuck this out together.

je 39. den. Byla jsem tady v Číně 39 dní s těmito lidmi vedle
kterých právě teď ležím. Myslím, že jsme všichni na sebe
pyšní, že jsme vydrželi takhle dlouho. Myslím, že to je to, na
co jsem nejvíc pyšná. Že jsme drželi spolu.

Today is day 39. (writing on the wood again)

So this morning we crossed off the last day on our countdown. Circled
#1. And that in itself was such a sense of accomplishment. I just
spent 39 days on bamboo in a jungle, and I'm about to leave these two
people that I've honestly grown to care about, in the end with. It's
so bittersweet.

dneska ráno jsme přeškrtli poslední den na našem odpočítávání.
Dali jsme do kroužku číslo 1. A to sám o sobě byl takový pocit
vykonané práce. Strávil jsem tady 39 dní na bambusu v džungli a
chystám se opustit tyhle dva lidi o které jsem se upřímně
staral. Je to takové hořkosladké.

Courtney:

Amanda:

Todd:

Courtney (solo):
Amanda and Todd really were my best friends throughout this whole
experience. We've all been together since day 1, in the rain and the
swamp. I'm just really glad the final day is being spent with people
I honestly care about.
Amanda
a Todd byli opravdu moji nejlepší přátelé celou tuhle hru. Byli
jsme všichni spolu od prvního dne, v dešti a bažině. Jsem
opravdu ráda, že jsem ten poslední den strávila s lidmi, o které
jsem se upřímně starala.

I'm sure tonight when we all march out with our torches for the final
leave-taking of our camp, it's going to be a sad moment. Maybe even I
will get choked up. Who knows. I tend to have a little soft spot
every so often - don't tell anyone.
