Denise the Day After

no transcript, but at least description from realitynewsonline.com:

Denise doesn’t look any better when she has had a chance to clean up. Denise says “it killed me” to have Jeff Probst snuff her torch. She reiterates that it was a mistake not to go with Erik and Peih-Gee when they tried to get her vote. “Sometimes loyalty is not the best way to go.” A lesson Denise has learned too late about Survivor.

Denise turns to the subject of Amanda. She says that Amanda said she had her back and Denise trusted those words more than she should have done. Nothing is definite in a game like this and when she had the opportunity to jump ship, she should have. Denise helped Amanda a lot in the game and Amanda said she wanted to play honest – but she didn’t. Denise says she blames herself, though.

Turning to her family life, Denise says it’s really chaotic. This show was a bit of a vacation from that. But now she realizes how wonderful life at home is. Some of the fights at camp even reminded her of home! But nothing’s like being at home. Still, this experience has changed her life. She’s learned a lot about herself and life. She’s slept on the Great Wall of China! She’s been to the Shaolin temple. It was also amazing that her husband, who doesn’t fly, came to the camp. He got to see what they went through in camp. That was great too.

Denise sounds inappropriately mad at Amanda and not mad enough at herself for being a strategic non-entity in the game. I find it odd that Denise simultaneously says that she would have won the whole thing is she had been in the finals and, yet, she also thinks it’s wrong of the others to vote her out. Huh? If Denise really were such an all-fired threat, then they should vote her out, right?
